Gotta agree with FFF. The trout and salmon come across as too fishy and oily tasting.
Whitefish ARE too bland though--no taste.
I prefer bass pike pic and perch better and probably perch over crappie.
We usually don't eat perch though, we use them for bait.
And Markus--you should try eating some of the fish you catch!!--they taste better and are fresher than the ones at the grocery store. honestly!!!

ohhhh, I'll think about it. But even if I could bring myself to remove one from our systems....I don't think i could get by the chemical populiton and contaminents.
Perhaps after a stiff bud lite, someone will catch me in a moment of weakness and slip a bite sized fillet on my plate at the Spring Adventure weekend.
I heard there's a guy named jazman that can feed the whole group just by fishing from the dock!
I have heard of this "Dock Legend" that goes by the name "Jazman".....

Though I have recently developed an allergic reaction to fish The best tasting fish I have everhad by far was @ a restaurant close to Cornwall where the served "Lancaster Perch"in a beer batter, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, geez I really miss the taste!!!And they had the best coleslaw ever!!!!
Float I know the taste of which you talk..we used to have a cottage in Wesly's point...all the perch you could handle..and yes the restaurants made it great!! They sure knew how to cookem up and that beer batter....well....oh yeah baby!
Well i would have to say Lakers on the BBQ would be my best meal of fish, BIgger the better Wrap them up in bacon and watch them glow on the BBQ Second would have to be Crappie cus they have a nice sweet meat my fav of the pan fish!!! then in third it would have to be mr walleye from lake erie!!! mmmmmmmm!! my taste buds say its tied for first LOL!! Third would have to be perch ive had to so much i get sick of it but it still taste good!!!!
