My 3rd Walleye over 25 Inches this year! (Petrie Island)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by TheFishFinder »

Just want to share this bad boy I caught yesterday (Oct. 4th) while fishing from my Kayak at Petrie Island. Mu lure of choice was the Reed-Runner, once again.....These guys have been hitting it all year!

Very nice fish. But man do they lack colour eh?!

I could almost see how the 'blue walleye' argument could start up again.....

You sure are finding the sizes...a most impressive bunch of walleyes!

You're living up to your nickname. 8)

Great report and pics.

I guess this answers the question about the size of the 'eyes in the Ottawa River quite nicely.

Those are some imperssive 'eyes there. Well done!!!
