Actually, I'm interested to know what to get also. I have crankbaits, spinnerbaits and a few dardevle spoons and that's about it.

Almontefisher, I would start a new thread and have one of the mods to sticky it for ya. Start a list of who will be attending, who is on the short list and what will be needed for the weekend. It will give ya's a better idea of what everyones bringing, who's staying where and maybe even a list of the fishable lakes within a short distance. Better planning = a more organized and fun G2G!

!
Hey Tip-up....MNR has been stocking that lake since I've been going up there in the early 80's and even before then.....that lake was also stocked way back with Brook trout....
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what sizes come outa there and how lucky I'm gonna be ......one of my buddies caught one just under 9lbs 2 yrs ago in a canoe by himself.....took him 45min to bring it in!!
Here's a pic from another buddy that was up there last year...I guess he was pretty lucky to catch that one in the middle....I believe it was a tad over 7lbs

I would love to come... I am from Oakville and have everything but a boat... (sank IN Bay of Quinti) If there is a seat with someone I will be there and look foreward to it.
Thanks Dursky
3lb'er has been the biggest I have seen come outta the lake. Those are some fine catches TMH The fishing is very heavy from what I have seen. Would't expect to see them that large Can't wait to fish the lake from a boat rather than bucket.
