Fraser River Fishing Lodge BC. Fall 2007 Trip

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

wow, sounds like quite the trip! you guyz/galz have yourselves a blast....

a little too much $$$ for my blood...i'm kinda have the markus frame of mind...imagine what i could do w/ 3000.

i think i'd charter two planes to drop me and about five or six of my closest friends into a 'no access' lake (other than by air) way up north...40" Pike and Walleye. Northern Lights. Ahhhhh......

Five days of camping and fishing in seclusion....only to be met mid trip with a few more cases of wobbly pops.

(but gimme a decade or so to build up my finances....)

I'm already way up North Steve. I see the trip more as a pampering. Fine accommodations, meals and fishing at a greater cost. No walleye fillets and baked beans on this trip, although that is fine meal for many other getaways. No bugs. Big mountains. Big sturgeon. Big salmon and exotic trout. A professional chef. Full use of the right equipment and bait. It's just one of those trips Steve you pay for and then show up. A no brainer with all the trimmings. Like I told the others, you put away $100 a month ti'll trip time and you're there with the rest of us.

I'd be interested in your northern fly-in trip that could get 6 people into remote lake for a week and have a booze run for $3000. I spend alot of time searching sites for just such trips and have never found one that would get you everything like that for $600 CAN a head. pm me if you know of such places with offers like that, I'd certainly be willing to look into arranging another trip for a different time.

Mannnnnn, I can really saw logs. But it really depends on how much scotch before bed. The more the worse I am and the longer it goes I'm told.

I'll put it to rest soon good buddy, and then we'll all just try and forget about it awhile so it doesn't cause insomnia or give us ulcers. :D

Few more months of recruiting here left, then sometime down the road the group can start having fun figuring out the minor details.

sharing bunks and snoring

Post by scuro »

Actually, I am not an exceptional snorer...quite average I would guess...on that male middle-aged noise spectrum.

If it starts to get bad just throw a pillow at me. If you let me get to the drool stage..look out! The noise will create minor cracks in tiles and take the paint off the walls!

The trick in group sleeping arangements, is to be the first one to fall asleep. :P

Yes, count me in. Sounds like a great trip. Too bad it is 30 months away. Lets do something like this this year.

Indeed count me in.

This will still give me time to save up for my 2010 fishing adventure to Brazil for Peacocks.
