MUSKRAT LAKE - this coming Thursday, March 3rd.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I can't speak for everybody else but I'd like to get there by 6:30 ideally. Got there at 7:30 last time and probably missed the better part of the laker bite.
I know Ransome said he was going pretty early.

Anybody care to share their arrival times?

Just a suggestion, i was thinking we should head out an hour earlier than last week, say meet at 6 am at the launch in Cobden. Id like to be out there for sun rise, anyone else have any input?

I agree with Oak, I would like to be there or fishing at 6am!!!!

Anyone else going to meet us at this time? And slush, if you dont want to meet us that early, just come out when you feel like it, drive onto the ice form the launch, and keep towards the middle, youll see us on the right hand side fishing!

Or if you have a cell phone I could give you my number so you can call us when you get there!

Slush,

Like they say, show up when you like, they'll be easy to find as they're likely the only group with all vehichles and no permanent huts :!:

Also they'll likely be in the same spot and surely they'll be hnaging around for the night bite again :!:

Just remember, with this new snow storm and, depending on how much we get, could be interesting gettin' out there :!:

Meeting at 6am at the gas station on the highway right across from the launch in Cobden.

Anyone else thinking of coming out? You don't have to meet us there that early. We'll be very easy to find on the lake. BUMP this thread if you're in.

Thankfully yes we do, special thanks to jighead and tipup for lending Buckmouth and I their shelter. That warrants a day in the Bassboat!
