Are there really lures for all 7 dwarfs? That is ridiculous and awesome at the same time. I can't find anything to back that story up. If anyone knows a site, please let me know - I have to see this to believe it.
I found a site for those beer cans: http://www.antiquefishinglures.com/bigbud.htm
What's the most unusual lure in your tackle box?

Fun thread, Legend.
I would ahe to rummage through my tackle box to be certain, but off the top of my head comes an old wooden plug that belonged to my Uncle Chippy, probably from the 30's or 40's. It's not in good shape, but I keep it as a talisman for luck. I'll try to get a pic & post it.
Also, some inexpensive look'g lure of my father's that I think of as "The Shrimp" -- cause that's what it reminds me of. Orangish, dotted w/ yellow & big eyes. It looks like it would dive down, sort of similar in shape and size to a 10+. Never used it, as it was one of my Dad's and I like to keep as a rememberance. He also had something that has little metal blades that you pull out to the sides of the lure; I guess it floats -- is this a "crazycrawler"? It's funky looking.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
I bumped into the guy at the Carp Show that used to be on The Weekend Fisherman who collected old lures . He knew all about them. Can anyone remember his name?Up 'Em wrote:Are there really lures for all 7 dwarfs? That is ridiculous and awesome at the same time. I can't find anything to back that story up. This lure is a must for those that have trouble "walking the dog".
Boy that painted lure of Niagara Nick's brings back memories. I had a whack of them stolen out of my car at a transmission shop when I was 19... They would be worth something now. I even had some that had propellers at each end... I think they were Barracuda lures or something.
