The bigger, the better!
It wasn't huge, but I was real happy when I caught it.

This is from my favourite fishing memory on Norcan Lake. It was one of those trips where you caught 50 fish in one trip. It was a real wet and cold one but was it ever worth it. All the bass were in the 3lb range. They also made a good fish fry for the evening. It was at a hunt camp, so we were depending on the fish for meals.

Unfortunately, I dont have a picture of my best catch this summer. It was just too dark and I left the camera back on shore. Was a real beauty of a smallmouth though. One of those ones that bulldogs like crazy and looks like a real nice fish beside the boat, but only when you get a hold of it do you realise what a hefty chunk of bronze it is. Sigh - I miss the summer bass fishing already.
Saskie is still loving his brush with the muskie out on the headpond. I cant blame him - I just wish that I had been the one to cast out of that side of the boat first
. Just kidding Saskie.
