I will be at Quinte this Saturday...
So far the weather looks pretty good...a bit of a walleye chop and overcast
I will have a boat full this time around...My boat is booked up with folks most weekends but if any fish-hawkers are looking for a spot let me know when and I will see if we can work something out before the end of December. FishForFun...I still owe you a few trophy walleye from my boat, my treat
I will monitor 72 on the VHF, see ya's on the water.

I'm gonna try to be out there again before the season is out. Maybe, I'll slap on the riggers.
Where do you guys launch from? I usually launch for the pig farm, there's good weeds and some fish right there.
eye-tracker - are you using a Navionics Chip?
Hope to see some of you guys...I'm in a red and white boat.

Bassnhawk,
this time of the year there's pretty much no weed or fish in that area. You could probably catch some but not likely to catch double digit 'eyes there. You're better off driving down to the ferry launch, as that will put you right in the middle of the action without the LONG ride back to the pig farm if the weather turns on you like last weekend.
Thanks for the heads up Ken
As you can tell, I haven't been on the bay for months. I'll try launching in picton or at the ferry where the action is and leave my gas can behind.
Hey JP,
I have a bassboat too and it is no problem with trolling. I run 1 sometimes 2 drift socks out. I have rod holders mounted on the rails and even have fitted a planerboard mast (although dont use it much prefer the inline boards) to the front seat post base. This is a fairly common setup for the bass guys down here. I fish the Quinte Fishing Series and they run a walleye event in May almost all the bassboats are setup this way.

Yup... I am running a XL Navionics Chip for Lake Ontario and Eastern Ontario. Can't live with out them now
I usually launch at the Glenora Ferry or Adolphus Park, because I am coming in from the east. Picton launches are closer if you are coming in from the west.

Just a guess eye-tracker, based on your results I was guessing that you were loaded with the chip. It's impertinent in any water, especially fishing big water. It provides a lot of insight to fishing in the 3rd dimension

Big O...
I will be on the water at 8:30am...I have to make a run to Picton Harbor to pick up an angler then I will be fishing between the Ferry and Light House on Adolphus Reach.
See ya on the water...
