Muskie outing continued

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Can't wait and directions

Post by JP »

Take 416 South from the 417.
drive to Roger Stevens Rd exit (about a 20min drive)
Exit at Roger Stevens rd and at the stop sign at the top of the ramp turn left and go over the bridge.
Go on Roger Stevens rd over the Rideau River and turn Right at the stop sign on Rideau River rd.(Hurst Marina and the Swan are on ur left).
Follow the Rideau River Rd for about 5min and u will see Taylor park on ur right. (The Riverbend restaurant is at the entrance to the park).
See u all on the 30th. :P

FRS for muskie day

Post by JP »

People who have an FRS radio should bring it to the Muskie outing and we can find out who'scatching and on what.
Just talked to Jake from Manotic Bait and he landed 4 skies yesterday in 4 hrs. He's looking forward to a great day on the water and meeting everyone. Just a reminder that he will put on a short seminar in the morning before we hit the water. He also has room for one in his boat.
Have a great thanksgiving everyone and be safe.

Is there a 416W? I thought its just N. and S.... in this case isn't it S?

I'm not being rude I'm just a very likely candidate to get lost.

Hey Walker, I'm really looking forward to it as well. It looks like there is going to be a great bunch there.

7am at Taylor park will be the Seminar by Jake and on the water by 7:30am. Launch at Taylor park.

I met up with some guys today from New York state and told them about the outing, They seemed very interested in coming to it, cool.

See u on the water.

Not sure if this was mentioned or not. It costs $5 at Taylor Park. No change, so make sure you bring a fiver or some toonies/loonies.

Thanks Slushpuppy

She's right, the launch is $5, but it is a good facility with outhouses, lots of parking and a concrete launch. thanks for reminding me Slushpuppy :) .
