New to the Board!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

New to the Board!

Post by TLSea »

Ok, some of you know me, some don't.

For those that know me - I'm JP's other half - the one that gives him a hard time in the boat

For those that don't know me - I'm JP's better half - the one that JP gives a hard time to in the boat. :D

It was my first year tournament fishing this past summer. A lot different than I expected..I held my own pretty well (but don't ask JP that) :)

I've fished since I was a kid with my dad. I was always up by 5 am out on the docks waiting to catch the big one.

I've really enjoyed Bass fishing. This past summer, I learned to fish with scum frogs (wow - what a neat experience) and have very closely mastered fishing with tubes..sort of.

I actually do quite well..I can usually outfish JP (any other day than tournament day :( )

Last year was my first musky experience - I was the first to catch one (JP was jealous!!! )

I'm looking forward to meeting many of you at the musky outing. Bundle up - it will be a cold one!

Welcome to the board TLSea. Great to have another bass guru to lean on for tips! :P

Are you partial to smallies or largies?

Hey

Post by TLSea »

Hey Markus. Thanks for the welcome!

Most of my experience has been catching bucketmouths, pitching spinnerbaits, tubing and frogs. I tried the Senko type baits - still need some practice getting a feel for them. I hope to hook into a nice 5lb smallie some day.

Have heard lots about you! Looking forward to seeing you at end of October. I liked the sleeping picture of you on the Last Cull. :)

Thanks Gordo. Looking forward to meeting you as well!

It's a LADY!.

TLSea, welcome aboard. Finally someone who can keep JP's fishing stories in check. :P

This is becoming a rather chick intensive board. And that's alright with me (right Misses Livewell). Another friend for ya.
