I was using logic, asking people that would actually have the information I seek. Searching google for a trout lake is like reading through a romance novel..takes a long time to sort through the crap.
Anyway thanks again to all those that are not elitist and shared some info.
This has nothing to do with elitism. It has everything to do with you being too lazy and cheap to follow through on your own research.
IF you live in Quadeville/Ottawa, there are tons of lakes up there!
get the stocking list fromMNR kanata, then go to the TOPORAMA on the Canada Atlas website.
find the lake on the stocking list closest to you, all you do is lookat thecounty it is in, then find the county on the map, and find the lake, or just type the name in, it's foolproof.
There are some creeks up there said to hold trout but I've had no luck.
Very simple....basically any creek(up there) with cold enough water has trout in what numbers though and do you have the time to hike into regions not by or on the road? probably not since it's hell up there bushwhacking? who knows....years ago there were much better results....
I have seen Twin Lakes near Dacre recommended and little do people know it's actually private property and one needs permission by the owner to enter this property. There is an address tag at the lower lake entrance and just wanted to give fair warning. Tooey Lake is close by and just a little further east heading towards Renfrew and is an amazing spot for fishing and swimming. From personal knowledge Twin Lakes especially the lower one I would not recommend for swimming.
Hey bro thanks for that info, how do we go about asking for permission? Also, it's mainly crown land there I was told ? I'm thinking of doing some grouse hunting while I'm at it.
So I have been told that apparently the ministry can help wth the permission being granted or at least answer your question on how to get permission onto this private property. Back in 1997 I have witnessed with another person something very abnormal located at the lower lake area and have reported it but not see if it was taken seriously. There has been other reports over the years and have heard of a very recent one in mid September or early fall. These reports are sightings of an unknown species that simulates a turtle without a shell. Any thoughts?

Interesting to hear about the ministry's involvement in granting permissions. The reports of an unknown species resembling a shell-less turtle are intriguing. Did anyone else witness it recently? Curious to know if there have been updates or investigations since the reports. #OntarioTroutLakeMystery
