Finally got out

Unbelievably,, I hadn't been out on the water till yesterday ( I know I know sacrilegious ) ..All my work recently once the weather warmed up has been exterior,, so when its nice weather,, its been all work . So yesterday I finally got to the lake to make sure the boat and gear was all working properly ( and a short fish of course). I didn't expect much since it was noon and dead calm. 1/2hr after being on the water this little baby came along to say hello.

They have been my go to for lakers for years... This one was actually caught on a hardbody shiner ( with some blue of course)
