There is no ice fishing g2g planned this winter but would be nice to see a bunch of members out at RJ's ice fishing derby on Big Rideau. A bunch of us usually stay well into the evening for the night bite once the derby is over.
I was a little worried i'm not going to lie!
Glad there will be a new owner and fish hawk isn't going anywhere! I started on this site when I was young and dumb, and truthfully not much has changed
Have learnt so much off people here and have made some amazing friends from this site!
Don't think i would be half the angler I am now without it truthfully!
Here's to a new beginning with new ownership and hopefully more new faces!
I plan on becoming more active on here again and not just a creeper drooling over all you tackle junkies gear!

Bass Addict is the new owner and operator of Fish-Hawk?[/quote]
So much for making the announcement March 1st or so !!.....Get ready for a Bird pic section Folks .
There will be an influx of Great Grey Owls in the winter of 2017
Your enthusiasm has always show in your pics and you have a natural talent. Sharing that talent through places like Fish-Hawk is a great way to give back to the people who have helped you out!
When I first started reading these forums, even though you were very young, I took notice to what you wrote because of the fish you were catching. If you can help even one person on here become a better angler, it is worth the time to post.
I look forward to seeing you on here more often making this site even better than it already is!
Hard to believe it's been over 10 years since signing up and even longer for some others. It was JP that introduced me to Fish-hawk one morning while out ice fishing with my dad in 2004 and suggested my brother and I join the site. Since that day I can almost count the days on both hands where I did not check the forums. There are some awesome guys and gals here and it would be a major loss to loose such a great resource... like Chevy said ''I was a little worried'' too. There are a lot of lurkers here and hopefully under the new change we can get some members back on the board. The members still rehashing on the past need to stop.
Long live Fish-Hawk.

Wow, over 7000 posts, just like RJ, and you are way before my time here. Tks for the support here, even though you don't get to participate much anymore. I've followed Life at the Hell Bear for a few years now and really enjoy it. I hope you get good snow this winter. Your last year's haul was damn impressive. Quite the hunter wee lass you have there too. Great squirrel hunt with the kids. I bet that was a highlight for all. Cheers

I nominate for best post lol Probably describes it best for most. Cheers Mav
This is awesome news Craig. I'm soooo happy this site is staying alive.
Just like the 12+ lbs walleye, someone is putting it back in the water to live another day.
I've learned alot over the years from all you guys, made some friends and got some gear from you.
I'm so glad fish-hawk is staying.
Whoever it is that saved this site, thanks you.

Keep your line in the water and there will always be a smile on your face.
