The boat don't run so good on ice and I'm to poor to go south.
This is nonsense. I truly believe guys that spend all year fishing for everything that swims become way better bass anglers and anglers as a whole. Being on the water nearly year round gets you more in tune to what is going on once your "season" starts.

I totally agree with what you said. My comment was a tongue in cheek type comment.
I really don't give a hoot what people think I'm fishing for.
We are on the Ottawa River on opening day. Looking for big Pike.
We don't mind the accidental walleye and we keep away from the Bass Spawning beds.
And if we are lucky, we hit some very big crappies.
We just never bother posting pics of what we catch other than the occasional Bass when Bass Season opens.
