where to find white fish around renfrew area

lived in the renfrew area for years and was wondering if anyone knows of any lakes around renfrew that you can catch whitefish through the ice any help would great as i want to take my father for some deep water action.

I've had a local tell me that they are in muskrat, but though the lake is suitable for them I've never seen one come out.
