I feel comfortable with my walleye gear and for lakers. Normally I use to tip with minnows but I plan to use 3in Gulp Alive minnows.cprince wrote:Specs mostly... lakers too!DropShot'r wrote:What specie of trout are we going for?

What would be some good spec jigs? I do not have any L'il Foxie jigs. I do have some small Williams Whitefish, a small Rapala ice jig, and some small Hopkins spoons.
Thanks,

Lac St Marie
Hi
I will be showing up too.
I will probably meet you at the restaurant at Lac St Marie, may see the guys at Tim Hortons but do not wait for me.
If anyone needs a ride from Ottawa there is room in the van.

If it too cold for you, then get on your thermal panties.Daner wrote:Hey Hawkers;
I don't want to seem like a wimp, but have you checked the weather for Sunday? Minus 22. I hope there is no wind factor!
Of course we won't know until Sat...
Have you considered a rain day?
The colder the better... it will keep the golfers/wimps away.
This is the one time in a year that I can feel a little like a musky guy... crappy weather and still out there giving the middle finger to Mother Nature while the others stay inside untangling their mother's apron strings!
