Ended up catching 14 Walleye from 1 to 3.5 lbs. in about 4 hours of fishing. Worked the edges of a submerged point that was at 9 feet of
water, the edges of the point dropped anywhere from 18 to 30 feet of water. All walleyes were taken by jigging twister tails tipped with a
piece of worm. Also boated a bunch of catfish, polluted with them up there.
Brenden got a little bored with jigging, so he started casting my Muskie rig, with a Blue Fox tinsel type spinner, and was rewarded for
his efforts with a nice fat 36 inch Muskie. He was casting on top of the point in 10 feet of water, and bringing it back to deeper water when
the big one hit. His best Muskie so far, I think he`s hooked, was released and swam away none the worst for wear. Will definately give this
spot a serious try for Muskie in the near future. (Sorry no pics), I will have to break down and get a new camera, my Canon gave up the
ghost after about 9 years of solid use.
