Battery charger

Battery charger

Post by High Noon »

Hi Folks,

So, my piece of #$%@ Minn Kota charger cr@pped out last week and my piece of #$%@ Canadian Tire charger cr@pped out this week and now I need a charger that will charge my battery for my trolling motor and my small sealed 12 volt 12 amp battery I use for my Humminbird.

Any opinions on chargers and stores that sell them would be very much appreciated.

Thanks all

Last year I started using a Battery Tender and they are awesome!! your able to put them on and just leave it until you want to use the boat again. You can also leave them on all winter to maintain your battery, many people use them to store Hot Rods and such. I bought one for my Father and he was able to bring back two batteries that his crappie charger wouldn't touch. I ordered mine from Cabelas but I sure you could find one in the Ottawa area. Crappie may even have them, I'm not sure.

I've been using a Battery Tender to keep my battery charged, and am happy with it. Comes with a couple connection options for different uses, the charger is small, and easy to use.

Got mine at Total Battery...

Hi Frank & Ruckus

It is good to hear good reviews on the Battery Tender. I just got off the phone with them and will probably pick-up the international as it is waterproof and I only have a carport. I have sent an e-mail to Bobber for an update on his product review.

Thanks

So far so good, fairly inexpensive and seems to work well
