I went down to fish one of my favorite holes on the Jock over the weekend only to find that someone had been down the other day and made a livewell out of river stones. Given that the water levels have been dropping, there was only a couple inches of water in the "well". What really burned me was that some idiot had the nerve to catch and keep a 13" SM, then leave in the well to die!
I'm sorry but if you can't read/understand the Open Season section of the regulations you don't even deserve to own a fishing license!

what a tool, this really makes me mad as well, what kind of a person makes a livewell out of stones by the shore. Should notify the ministry and let them know what you found, maybe they can check that spot more often.

the same kind of arsehole who drills an 8 hole, foot deep ice live well in the Ottawa River in February and leaves it filled with slush and unmarked when he goes home at day's end.
I live in Richmond, I DONT fish the jock... never seen any kids fishing it.. always seems to be the same middle aged guys fishing it on the north shore ... I occasionally see a fellow in a canoe.

Why bother keeping a bass even when the season is open? I've never even bothered to eat one. By the time it's open it's too warm anyways. If you want to eat bass go to a diff place. Gross.
