I know I just showed this pic, but a Mama must have her bragging rights.
Tyler and this beauty of a perch were highlighted on our local (ABC) News Channel 9 at 6 pm on Monday under their feature "Picture of the Day"...
We were pretty excited about it, but actually missed the program because we were at double-header baseball games for both boys.
The newspaper never did run the pic of Ty and his monster largemouth from last August; I think it's because they like to feature local fisheries, but it would have been awesome to see that one in the Sunday paper!

Baseball = BAD
Fishing = GOOD
Heck, if you don't eat the fish and you don't eat the baseball, BOTH are good outdoor activities!
Good for you, Ty! If your folks allow it, I will take you in to a secret perch lake this summer.
Heck, they can even come along to be witnesses!

Just think...years from now when he's the next KVD or Izumi we can all say "we knew him when...."
Nice going Torp
