Off season SUCKS!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Off season SUCKS!

Post by Grinder »

I guess I'm just complaining but this has been the longest OFF season for me since, well, forever.
I've been out cathching perch and crappie and the odd other kind of baitfish but I am just not satisfied!
Pike opens in two weeks and I guess I'll be out but I just can't wait to bring out the big rods, reels and lures and start fishing for MUSKY!!!
I put my boat in on Saturday for the second time this year just to try out my new combo and I motored over one of my " Honey Holes" and low and behold, my screen was PACKED with BIG arches!! I guess I'll have to wait, but for some reason this year opener can't come soon enough.
I'll be out at 12:00am on opening day (which just happens to be one day before full moon) and I'm not going to go home until December 15!

Next year, I'm goin' south. Winter sucks.

I fish the Rideau (close to home) 2-5 times a week and I am looking for a regular partner. I need a guy/girl who is SERIOUS and who has their own setup. I've got a new 17' deep V that is ready to go and I like to troll and cast for hours and hours. Nighttime is the righttime but you can't be a joker. If you are legit then PM me and we can hook up. You better not complain about bugs........or bats........
