local fish farms

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thistle Springs is 2 minutes from my place....right off of Dwyer Hill Rd. in the Munster Hamlet area....

Take HWY 7 West and turn right onto Dwyer Hill...you'll see the sign on your right...

Been there plenty of times when my kids were younger and I didn't have a boat. You (or your kids) will definitely meet with success ... however success comes with a price!! :o The fish counter at Low-blows is cheeper! It's fun anyway!

Thistle Springs has rainbows and specks that you can fish for and they sometimes sell Artic char but you cannot fish for them. This is my daughters favourite place to fish, not as pleasant on the wallet.

Is fun for sure.. You can fish the Artic Char and they fight like crazy when you hook one. But in the summer months the trout taste like mud. just fyi
