Trolling motor

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Trolling motor

Post by bassman »

Hello, I'm looking to buy a used or new bow mount trolling motor. Does anyone know of a place down in the Kingston area that sells them. I live in Pickering but heading down that way tomorrow. Basspro doesn't have what I'm looking for and Canadian tire doesn't have any stock.

Thanks,

Bassman

You might try one of the marine dealers in kingston. There is one that is on bath rd. near the frontenac institution[jail] centre. There is another off of Sir John A mc'Donald blvd. i hope this helps you out....Larry

I second Larry's advice. There is no fishing store in Kingston (that sells motors) and outside of Canadian Tire your bet bet is one of the Marina's. There is also a West Marine in the Kingston Centre Mall, but I do not think they carry trolling motors in stock.

Walmart sells some motors, but I'm not sure about bow mounts.

For price, I found Lebaron's to be very good - if you cannot find one this weekend and have the time to get there. Check out their website.

Hope this helps,
