Fishing Partner Needed Apply Within

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing Partner Needed Apply Within

Post by Rider23 »

I am looking for a stable fishing partner, someone who is able get away in the evenings and weekends. Must be a diehard not bothered by wind, rain or anything Mother Nature tosses our way. I fish primarily for Muskie, if you are not outfitted for this type of fishing I do have enough equipment until you are able to build you own gear up.

I do have a boat that is comfortable to fish in, I live in Kanata so living close would be a benefit. I fish till water freeze over (and then some)

Sharing in the cost of fuel would be helpful.

Ted

I've got the gear and I've got the floater/survival suit....can I apply for the late fall position?

My marina tends to put boats away pretty early, mid October, so I get to miss a lot of Late October and November fishing.

So can I?

 Sorry Ted, still wish I could make the outing, alas no rainsuit and home reno's tend to cause havoc with weekend fishing outings. I'm available most times, this time however, just wasn't in the cards. Best of luck and hope you nail a sweet fat one!

Matt, you were right about pre hurricane conditions, Nofish mentioned it as well.

So Nofish and I worked the Lower Ottawa all day yesterday. We had a variety of wind conditions which were blowing from the East and South East. The muskies were small, 32" 34" 37" 39". They were all caught in the afternoon. The water temp had dropped to 68, 2 degrees down from last weekend.

The best part was, they hit 4 different lures. No spinnerbait this time!

We tried again this morning, but couldn't get out of the bay, the swells were just too brutal!

The pics were taken with a trow away camera, I'll try to scan them and then post them, if it's possible.

It's Musky time boys :D
