Mini strike king spinnerbaits

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

If its the little mini kings you mean. We use them as panfish baits.

I would suggest a larger spinner for largies.

I'm sure they're pretty versatile; but being a C&R angler if I were fishing for bigger gamefish, I'd use a larger bait. I'd think those mini spinnerbaits would be inhaled by bigger bass and pike.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

I won a tournament against my dad's work on them when I was like 12, lol

They are awesome little baits for largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, panfish and you never know what else might hit it. Caught channel cats in Hamilton Harbour on them once!

Isn't that what Mr. J's little boy caught his prize winning smallmouth on at last year's Wolfe Howl-in at Float's?

mini do dads

:( Nope They're no good. Don't usem. Specially for smallies. No good at all.

The specially won't work if you chuck em at a drop off, reel off the drop, then let them drop a bit. Don't do it. no good.

Don't ever use a black one just at dusk for crappies. They hatem. Won't touch em. For god's sake don't ever change the flashy spinner for a flat black one, for crappies, at dusk.

Hope this helps

Don't let the small size of that spinnerbait fool you. It catches big fish. Drives largemouth crazy! On lake Scugog I've caught everything from perch to muskie with it. Good luck

Wee spinnerbaits from SKL

Hey BM, these little puppies work on all sorts and sizes of gamefish.
If you notice how "large the hook really is" you will see that they are designed for buckets and in a conversation with Shaw Grigsby Jr sometime back now he explained how much of his Bass master success had come when he downsized his offerings to those little guys when he new fish were present and not willing to cooperate.

When I guide there is at lesat two of these rigged and ready to put the fear of Strike King in there hearts.....or perhaps in their lips>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
