Well Legend asked in another thread so thought I'd post it. Unlike our eastern brothers it may be a while yet for us but a little gathering on the lake would be good :wink: A sat. or Sun Jan. or Feb.? Friendly Derby for a few $s?

seeing that i havent ice-fished in over 15yrs, im in. now ive got to buy all this icefishing gear, :shock: man, the wifes gonna kill me. :)

What's the basic stuff I'll need? I don't really want to buy a rod/reel just for ice fishing (by the looks of Skooter I won't be doing it too often).

If im going on the trip all you need is warm clothes and a bite to eat. i can lend you anything you may need as im sure alot of the others that are going can. Really you just need to show up and find the group they will take care of the rest.
