4th Annual Bassin for Bucks - Mississippi Lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

bassin for bucks

Post by starrman »

Hey Hawk Talkers!

I fished the Bassin' for Bucks tourney last year and had a blast despite the somewhat damp weather. I was looking to do it again, but my regular partner can't do it. Anyone interested? Drop me a PM.

Thanks

I'll see ya's all at the party afterward - I just spent my entry fee on gas money.

Mother Nature

Post by baitcaster »

Did you hear the forecast for Saturday? They're saying sunny and 22! I think Mother Nature must not know Bait Casters is having a tournament. In fact I woke up this morning, saw the gale force winds and was sure the tournament was today! I'm keeping my fingers crossed the weatherman is right! We are certainly due!
Hope to see everyone on Saturday!

Weather

Crystal, If I were you and you wanted to insure good weather I would disqualify the MT Livewell team. It is a proven fact that bad weather follows him. :D :D

Update

Post by baitcaster »

Okay guys, we've got 30 some teams registered. If you're coming in the morning please give me a quick call tonight so I save you a spot. I don't want to see anyone drive all the way out here and be #51.
As well, we have decided to do a Big Fish pool - $20 and all the cash goes back to the one big fish of the day!
It's your choice if you get in or not but it will be a big chunk of cash if you're the lucky one!
See ya in the morning!
