Pigeon Lake?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by clevelandjohn »

I am heading up to Pigeon at the end of this month just wondering if anybody has been doing good on there for either walleye or muskie? Or should i focus on Buckhorn? Any advice would be GREAT!!!!!!

Hi Cleveland John,

The walleye guys all over the kawarthas have been singing the blues. They seem to be having trouble finding the fish. I haven't run into any walleye since the spring but i've been bass and musky fishing. Usually i will hook the odd walleye.

Musky have been improving. There are a lot more being caught lately after the rough start to summer. I've also heard its pretty good on Balsam as well so it would be beneficial to fish either lake.

Bass have been awesome. I've seen more BIG fish this year than most (not necessarily caught by me  ).

Hope this helps.
