Your Favorite All-Time Smallmouth Bait/Lure
For me, I have to go with a top-water spook, but it was tough to decide between that or drop-shotting a roboworm.
In the end, the blow-ups from beautiful big bass below the bait are what turned it for me.
So, what's your personal favorite bait/lure to catch Big-Belly Mama's?

Most people would think I would say a tube, and I do enjoy them, but my favorite way to catch smallies is on a spinnerbait.

So many options but a top water is my all time fav for catching any fish. I have been using the Duo Realis Pencil 110 a lot lately and it never dissapoints.
Spinnerbaits are a close second.

For me it's a tie between a football jig with a grub and a Rapala Clackin Rap

Topwater definitely for the visual aspect of catching smallmouth ... Luckcraft Sammy.
From a challenge perspective, drop shot, as for me it's the lightest tackle (rod/reel/line) and smallest single hook I have and the fight is usually more strategic.

"Spinnerbaitinator" just doesn't roll off the tongue the way "Toobinator" does, eh Ed?

That would be a very very close second to my Pop-R.

I'd have to say a Tube jig. It works from the top to the bottom and anywhere in between

Windy... Creature baits... Beavers
Flat... Top water - chug bugs, spooks
