Interesting topic...Most of my big trip fishing is already booked and associated with the annual trip home. We're stopping at Cochrane, Jellicoe and Kenora on the way, plus once there we'll be fishing the Sask River/Tobin Lake and Jan Lake; both for eyes and pike.
Also I have to spend a few weeks in Winnipeg MB for training: once in the spring and again in the fall (Gee - you'd almost think I planned that around Red River cat and walleye fishing; or was that Lake of the Woods Musky and walleye...or maybe both

...it's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it

)
Local waters I'd like to explore in detail:
1.
The lower (Arnprior) sections of the Head Pond - so far all of our fishing has been above Claybanks at the Stewartville end
2.
Buckham's/Constance Bays - they're so close and I've fished them so little
3.
White's Lake - I went there with Hoser once and loved the lake, I want add it too my list of regulars
4.
Clayton Lake or another LM spot with consistent action other than Appelton
5.
The lower Mississippi R in between Hwy 17 and Galetta - always meant to drop Leaky Lou in there - it looks soooooo bassy
Multiple Day trip lakes:
1. Norcan Lake
2. Madawaska R (ivo Burnstown)
3. Wendover for Bass/Musky
4. Muskrat
Weekends:
1. Upper Ottawa
2. Trout Lake
3. French River
4. Qunite
There are few problems in life which can not be solved with a well-placed, high-explosive projectile.
