Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.
They are Shimano boxes. They have been discontinued unfortunately.
They are awesome for organization but not so much for holding quantity as you can see.
So I managed to find two of the Shimano boxes at a little more reasonable price. They were an auction item on EBay...I am quite impressed with them and even at an inflated price because they are discontinued, I think they are worth what you pay.
On one of the other forums I frequent, there is a Shimano rep. I asked him if these boxes would by chance be coming out again and the answer was that the company that holds the patent (not Shimano) went out of business and that is why they are no longer made.
Hey Adam, which ones did you get??
I have three of the blue ones and a green one. I prefer the blue for sure, the green box has smaller slots so I'm not sure what to use it for?? Maybe smaller jerkbaits.
The blue box also works well for walkers.

I got lucky and got 5 for $50 last summer. I even had one posted up for sale earlier this year, it was a BPS one which was identical but had different writing on the cover.
I had seen those on my search am they are pretty nice. I was looking for a solution that would hold a few more baits and that is why I bought the shimano boxes. Price wise, the crank daddy's would have cost me about the same to hold hust as many baits so I still happy with my decision. It is a great concept though.
Nice storage. Don't know if you fellas have heard about 'Blue Water Shipping' in Port Huron. You can have US items shipped there, and pick up. They charge $5 for for items up to 75 lbs. Here's the link;
