Salmon Charter ???

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Yes JP I can. I am leaving for our annual Charter after the BAOO tomorrow.

Its in Port Hope and the rates are excellent. The guide is top-notch.
His name is Wayne McAndrew, fish out of Port Hope.

Thanks JP,

Make sure to tell Wayne I sent you his way if you do book with him....

He knows his stuff. He turned a bad morning (slow) into a 13 fish day very fast....

Knows his stuff, knows the water and is extremely accomodating. This is why we've stuck with him as our salmon/Steal head guide.

Just got back and the fishing was indeed S-L-O-W.....

We got 3 and that is what the other boats in the area did. The US side had gotten into some steelies but that was it.

Water temp is 40f  with a surface temp of 55 once your in 130-200 fow.

Had fun, going back again next year!
