Well.......!
I thought this thread had moved to a back page and here it is again.
Wow, what nice things said here and they're appreciated. So not necessary, but so very kind!
This is a good pick-me-up, as it's been a sleepless few nights here with Shane quite sick. After a couple of visits to the Pediatrician, some chest and sinus Xrays and enough medications to open up our own pharmacy, I think we have him heading down the right path. Scary stuff, though.
So THANK YOU again to all for such wonderful greetings and sentiments. I feel like I know so many of you and most definitely enjoy the exchange of info, banter and good laughs. I am one of the old battle axes on FH.Net, and feel privileged to be a part of what I think is a fantastic site.
A huge thank you to Bobber for always doing his utmost to keep this a family site. I think with all the sick stuff that's out there and available to kids, it's great that they can come on here and check out the fun fish stories and pictures, and learn a little or a lot about fishing.
THANK YOU!
M.
PS: Hi M.T. Hope all is well with "Missus" and the kids! Yes, Brian has an assortment of toys, but most prove useful to me in the long run, so I am learning to let him play more. The Stratos is the shining example!
Miss you and your unique humor..."nuke the whales".
PPS: Todd: Brian and I often talk about taking one of those fly fishing camp trips that teach you the basic skills in some gorgeous backwoods trout haven. So it's in the big picture, eventually....!
