Rideau River Musky

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I think that fish weighs more than my whole summer's worth of fishing. It must have gotten the old adreniline going.

Hey, thanks for all the comments. Someone asked about the girth. sadly, I did not measure the girth. Seriously regretting that now but I wanted to get her back in as quickly as possible. I weighed her using my cradle so I didn't even think of getting the girth.

See you all out there.

Cheers,

For that length and weight, you'd be looking at about a 25 inch girth.

Rideau Musky Girth

Post by samurai_ted »

Thought I would kick in my two cents worth. If you look at the muskie I got a month ago in the gallery, she was 53" x 24". While mine was a bit longer, I don't mind saying that she did not have anywhere near the girth of this Rideau River beauty. I think you are looking at 26" - 28"!!!!
