Google Earth

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thanx for the good info Bucketmouth. You would think that Google Earth might realize that not everyone is infatuated with densly populated areas.

Trex,
I'm sure Google Earth would use higher resolution pictures of rural areas if they were available.
If you have a few extra bucks and you were to rent a satellite and make higher resolution pictures available, I bet Google would use them.

Jim, I KNOW that I don't detect any sarcasm in your statement: "If you have a few extra bucks and you were to rent a satellite and make higher resolution pictures available, I bet Google would use them.".........
I'm sure your advise was meant to be helpful  . Seriously, I have no idea how satellite pictures work, I figured that many different areas were photographed over the years, not just populated areas. But then again, why take close-up photos of natural geography while there aren't hoards of people there?? What a waste of scientific resources!

I used to scuba dive in some old quarries, Bullheads weren't uncommon in them so I could see minnows in them for sure :!:
