assorted fish today

assorted fish today

Post by Jonathan »

:D Dad was on one of his lets go see what we can find trips today. We took my friend Scott with us. We were looking for Turkey Point bluegill but dad drove to others places too. We caught lots of fish. There were bluegills, pumpkinseeds.perch shiners and even a large mouth bass. We stopped counting after about 30 fish each. It was a fun day and the most fish my friend had ever caught.

Dad showed us how to catch the shiners in case we needed bait some time.

I let this largemouth go after the picture. It took a worm I was using for bluegill. Not big fish , but they were fun.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Certainly caught more bluegill than we did today and a couple bonuses too. Hope you and your dad can come down this way sometime and show us how to fish

Jonathan,

I like the bass -- it's a good catch!

Do you think your friend will want to go fishing with you again? I would! :D

I was at the same channel early Sunday but only got 3 very small perch (about 3" long). I guess I should have stayed a little longer. I did get a 4 lb 11 oz largemouth bass in Waterford. Don't worry it was released after weighing it.
