Whos up for Quinte again?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Whos up for Quinte again?

Post by Rex Mundi »

Well since I was sick and a wimp and missed the trip to Quinte I am getting the urge to go down and get on the water this weekend.

Would anyone be interested in heading down for another shot at some of the big ones?

I'm up for it, but I'm gonna wait till mid to late november. The lake walleye will have moved in...that way I could launch from Deseronto.

The water at Adolphus Reach can be rough and tough, especially if your boat is of the smaller kind. I got tossed around pretty good in my 16 footer!!

BigO i went out to inspect my wiring on my motor last night. During sundays romp on the bay, I lost all electronics on the boat...gauges, trim, radio, bilge...eveything. I had to disengage the trim manually at the launch and mannually lift it to put the transom mount down.

Anyway, Last night I looked over the wiring, fuses extra and wasn't able to find a problem. After all that, I turned the key and everything worked perfectly! :? I'm thinking that after dunking the motor a couple times, that a relay got wet or something.

I believe you said your motor got dunked too. Maybe just give er a try...she might just fire up now that it's dry. :?:

Want to go, but

Post by JP »

Glad to hear that your boat is back up and running Big O.

I would love to go with u guys, but this weekend is no good. I also only have a bass boat that's not great for trolling, goes to fast  . I don'r really have the right equipment either, all bass gear, although I do own one dowrigger rod. If anyone is going down mid to end of November, I would love to tag along to split expences with u. I've alwys wanted to catch a 10lbs + walleye. My biggest so far is only 9.14 in the spring on the Ottawa.
Anyway, let me know.

I would definitely like to hit Quinte again, anyone going let me know I don't have a boat I can take but would share expenses. Also being self employed I don't need sick days.

I missed the quinte trip due to conflicts at work but I would love to go in a couple of weeks. However, I have to winterize my boat real soon due to mechanical problems.

I'd love to join someone if they have room for me in their boat. I'm out of Mississauga and wouldn't mind pulling and sharing gas. If anyone's interested, just send me a PM :)
