Today after work i hit a spot on Rideau canal close to Dows lake.
It was another slow day but I do have a fish to show for my efforts though. One run and one fish landed.
19lb right on. In three outings so far i managed to miss 5-6 runs and land another fish. I hope they snap out of their funk soon.
Tight lines

I plan to try a few spots in the city this year, this makes me look forward to it that much more.

I`ve seen a few around, its just matter of time before bite turns on.
The fight these guys put up is quite unbelievable. The other week i hooked one and it ran across the river, got into current and started going downstream. It nearly spooled me

You are welcome
.
I will make sure to show the one fisherman in the office here, maybe I will be able to get him out on the lunch hour.

No matter how many fish I land, it's ones that got away I think about most. :']

If it would stop raining I would have some motivation to get gear to the office.
