What a terrible day
Well today was the day I was to go out onto our lake and sprinkle my dads ashes like he wanted. So we leave @ 9am and head the 45 minutes to the cottage and when we get there we unload the jeep and get down to the water to get the boat ready. The plan was to get some fishing in and sprinkle the ashes and then get the water going for the cottage and go to the cottage association meeting for 2pm. Well got to the boat shed and opened the door to find my dads motor, tackle box with $500+ of lures and gang trolls etc and my mitre saw all gone. Someone came and stole my dads motor. So with no motor to troll with I decided I was very upset that someone would do that to my dads motor after all the good nature he has done for people in the past and I went back home to make sure they did not get to my moms house somehow. No luck.
So I did not get to sprinkle my dads ashes like he wanted, did not get to fish, and now I have no motor and all my dads tackle which some were very special to us are all gone. What a nasty thing to do to someone. I hope Karma bites you in your butt.

Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

That is unbelievable ... that truly sux. I don't know why people would steal stuff like that ... I bet they don't even intend to use the lures. I buy lures so specific to my what I like, I won't even bother using other lures even if I had them for free. What a waste!!! Try to get out and get some fishing to ease the anger ... Take care!

OMG.
Scum sucking b@$tards. I would be honored and happy to help in any way I could Peter.
What if I pulled old tinny up to your neck of the woods whenever you are able to, and then get it done? My schedule can be WIDE open at a moments notice. After work... before... whatever.
Let me know big guy.
Craig

BTW.. if you find out who it was... remember... a friend will help you move... a good friend will help you move a body.
Your good friend,
Craig

Whoever did this, I suggest they return it.
Put it in the news or something saying you won't penalize them if they return it since it's valuable to you since your father died............Who knows maybe he'll have a change of heart.
put it in the paper orsomething anything
I know it sounds dumb but the guilt of robbing a sons stuff that hisdad just left him during death is ridiculous andsickening.
Karma will make him pay for this truly........
I pray it'll be returned..............It's so sick...just so sick.........I'm repulsed..
Man I wish I could find him and give him what he deserves and collect your equipment for you.
I swear all 6'4, 300lbs ofme would send a fist so hard into his head he would eating through a straw in a hospital bed for the rest of his life......This individual is the LOWEST of LOW.
I hope he gets whats coming to him and ends up in a shallow grave in La Varyendre park where no one will ever find him.
If this was my dads or moms stuff and I wasin you situation I would have so much anger....that stuff has so much value to you, not monetary value, but true value, nostalgia, and they bring back memories, whichyou will not have anymore because of this person.
Take Care, and God Bless you and your family during this hard time.
Insanely mad =Fishing is Healing=
Sorry if I went overboard but come on guys think about this.....
