Looking for Outboard junk yard???

Post by 1lastcast »

I know there is someone in the kingston area that has a boat/engine junk yard? Anyone know the guys number or address?

Im looking to convert a 20hp merc short into a long shaft. Hoping I can locate a used lower unit. I know there is a kit to do the same thing. However this might be cheaper?

thanks

I believe there's a place called 'Loughborough Lake Marina' that
has an extensive 'graveyard' of boat/motor goodies.
Run by Chuck Convery & brothers, ph.# 353-2533 (not sure if this is current) :?

This is true, he is off of division street on North Shore road, just past the loughborough lake bridge. But Loughborough lake marina is a separate place, its an actual marina.

You should also check Ebay. I've been looking for mine(evinrude) and there is the occasional part, when all the parts together costs less then $100!

I think this it. Have never been there myself. A friend told me about it.
