I know there is someone in the kingston area that has a boat/engine junk yard? Anyone know the guys number or address?
Im looking to convert a 20hp merc short into a long shaft. Hoping I can locate a used lower unit. I know there is a kit to do the same thing. However this might be cheaper?
thanks

I believe there's a place called 'Loughborough Lake Marina' that
has an extensive 'graveyard' of boat/motor goodies.
Run by Chuck Convery & brothers, ph.# 353-2533 (not sure if this is current)
This is true, he is off of division street on North Shore road, just past the loughborough lake bridge. But Loughborough lake marina is a separate place, its an actual marina.
try dave at aim outboards, carp ont.(ottawa) he has thousands of old merc. parts, tons of old hard to find lower units, and has a full machine shop ,and is a merc. factory trained tech. 613-831-1246
I agree Dave's is a top notch place and he knows
his stuff and isn't out to rip you off, but the fact is
1LC was looking for a place in the Kingston area.
