Boat Plug
Oh yeah! At some point in time you will forget to put in the plug or inadertently stick it in the wrong hole. (That will always get you in trouble ) In my case I was draining the boat after a heavy rain and when I replaced the plug I put it in the drain for my live well.
We were in 200' of water when my brother noticed we were taking on water. Put the plug from the livewell in the drain hole and gave my bilge pump a major work out. Now I always carry a spare plug.

Maybe it was swamped by a Bass Boat's waves that went by at 70mph , two miles out...jwhite wrote:Ah yes...the Doral Colt.....had one of those....but mine didn't sit so far down in the water.Mr.J. wrote:Going home with it still in your pocket?

I did that also, but remembered soon enough, water was getting in but the boat was still on the trailer.
