Hey all..Just wanted to let you know that I am going to have the chance to fish with the guy you all like to hate....Italo Labigna ( sp..) I just got an email saying that I was chosen as 1 of 6 people to fish with him, so they will be sending an email to let me know where and when.

Had no one else to share this with so I thought why not my group of buds....

Can't wait for this!! 8)

thats asome. i would love a chance like this. learn some stuff, catch some fish, use some top end stuff and heck i might even be tempted to ask for a bit of advice (the kind hes so good at... aimed at a 4 yearold with below average iq) about fishing in season lol........ all kidding aside the guy messed up but he is still a great angler with a bunch of knowledge to be tapped. have fun

Thats awesome peter. Looks like another fish hawker to reach celeb status. 8)

It would be really cool to do the show on Mosque lake for bows, Id use a silver and red gang troll and night crawler. :wink:

Can someone refresh my memory with what happened to this guy and Henry? Didn't they get fined for something or other? or get in a heap of crap for improper release techniques?

I remember there being some hoopla but can't quite place it now.

I still like his shows.

Thanks all. I hope it will be fun. Here is a question as I do not know right now where when or what I will be fishing....What would you want to fish where when how with someone like that?? Bass??? Walleye?? Pike or trout??

I am thinking about this like crazy and do not know what to expect. :D :D

Seriously - congrats on the win Peter. But if he starts describing the finer points of tying the improved clinch knot to a 5 year old, give him a smack in the mout for me would ya? That kids segment on his show is disturbing to say the least.
