Rideau Musky

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I am by no means critizing you Nips, just giving you some info...also for others benefits.

http://www.muskiescanada.ca/articles/Fr ... 20Care.pdf

"Never lift a muskie vertically by its jaw. This has the potential of causing severe injury to the fish especially if it's a big one. When lifting a muskie for a photo or any other reason, always do so horizontally using your other hand to support it under its belly. Also, never ever hold any fish by its eye sockets. This definitely causes damage to the fish."

Taken from MCI website.

not a problem jamsers, the pictures with me holding the fish are done properly by supporting the belly, but my buddy needs to visit that link you sent, and i have a big kahuna net this year which is a godsend compared to my slime eating walleye net. Thanks for the info

That's why its nicknamed the Big Empty! LOL!

There were 4 or 6 fish caught over 2 days for the Ganny MCI outing last year.

The Lower-Laurentians had multiple fish in the mid 50's! In one day!

The Rideau is a real Gem! Nice fish in there.....only been skunked there 3 times out of 10!
