Flippin

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Pitchin

Post by High Noon »

I just picked up a combo set off of MuskyMatt. It has the Quantum Accurist ac500pt reel on it. I am with you Geos I have to do things of importence or consequence with my right hand  . The neat thing about this reel is the flippin switch. I think this will help with possible hook sets before or during my changing hands. I have also checked some flippin videos on youtube and a lot of the pros change hands. They have a lot more hours on the water that I will ever have and I don't think I would ever truly feel comfortable doing it left handed. I think it comes down to a personal feel thing. Washwater, it's good to hear from you man I hope things are good with you and the family. To answer your question I would be targeting bass with the hope that a toothy critter or two visit the end of my line. I am just trying to figure out a new way of working heavy cover. I got a bit bored/frustrated throwing a Moss Boss into the thick stuff with 14lb mono. Thanks for the help so far. A lot of good information. Unfortunately, a casting deck is out of the question. Little boat+2kids2adults a lot of the time=no casting deck.
