How did you find Fish-Hawk?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Yeah its an old thread, but, here's my story and I am sticking to it (Grin).

Was refered here by a friend who posts fairly regularily.

It was the maps project that drew my attention, but after getting the map info I was looking for I started reading the posts and haven't looked back since. This is a great site and look forward to meeting some of you this season.

There were a few fishing buddies that were wearing Fish-Hawk hats and I thought I would look into the site and see what it was all about. Lurked for awhile and have always enjoyed the commaraderie and debates. Just like sitting around the dinner table. You may not always agree on all topics but you get a lot of different points of view. Great Site!!!!

JP introduced Jig head and I to fish-hawk a while back while we were fishing on Crappie Bay. He told us a bit about the board and that we would love it. Joined that night 8)

FH told me he had a site so I decided to check it out that night... Lurked for a bit, looking at forums and put it in favorites. Came back 2-3 weeks after and really started to look into it in details and subscribed that night  Been around since then 8)

Historic discussion string

Post by Seaweed »

Wow

After rereading this discussion string it is a real historic who is who on this site.

Not sure that I remember how I found the site but it was many years ago... I was probably looking for maps too.

Fish-Hawk.net quickly became a daily visit for me....

Found this site while researching my summer vacation, read because of the information available, stuck around because of the people.

I found this site looking for maps and launch facilities when I decided to buy my dreamboat. Lurked for a while to get a feel of the board and then met Fish Hawk at the boat show - the rest as they say is history - this site is still my favourite - so much to learn, so little time.

Surfing and trolling for Quebec tourists locations - the rest is history. Contributed a few articles about bottom bouncing and harnesses - tons of responses and have been sharing since.

Watching and participating as the site has grown over the years has me believing that it is one of the top 5 sites on the web, I play on a total of 67 sites around the world and for sure Fish-Hawk is truly a home for me.

Attending the gatherings is one of my favorite past times and I've been known to cancel other activities to share time over a beer and platter of good food with the other like minded area anglers.

Thanks Fish Hawk & Bobber you really have built a fine house for us.
