I dont know what your talking about...o.k. maybe once or twice that has happened to me...Once I fell into an ice hole and got my leg stuck for a few minutes now that was embarassing...My buddy did the dock splits thing once and another time I was clearing some leadcore from the motor that my 10year old nephew got caught..well the lock gave way and down went the motor and in I went...He had a good laugh over that...got the motor back too...anyone else willing to admitt this has happened to them??
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

Been there more times than I'd care to admit.
Most recently, I was trying to get my lure unsnagged from the tree I just put it in... The branch I was holding on to to keep my balance snapped, and in the drink I went. My daughter had a good laugh over that. I told her not to tell anyone... and what does she do as soon as we get back in? She told everyone she saw.
The funniest was when my daughter was really young - just walking, so probably around 2. Anyway... we were down at the local duck pond feeding the ducks, and while throwing a handful of bread, doesn't she do a perfect swan dive right in to the pond... eeewwwwwwwwww!!! I grabbed her by the pants and hauled her out just as quick as she went in. The expression on her face was priceless (if only I had a camera). I laughed myself silly, but she didn't know what to think.

Funny, my hubby forwarded those to me a couple of days ago and boy did they give me a laugh. I just passed them along to a couple of folks, and when I logged on here, there they were.
The Love Boat theme in the background is icing on the cake.
PS: My Mom did one of these great moves once a long time ago; she stepped onto the rod locker, which busted thru (old boat) and down she went.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
