Baitcasters
Man what a wet day for sure.
Thanks to Baitcasters for organizing this event. Had a great time out with
a bunch of lads and even met some more Hawk-Talkers.
I was out with BTS and my son Kyle. On his Birthday (15th) no less ... What a trooper
Had the pleasure of meeting Rob (aka Brit) and (Dark Elf) sorry, forgot your real name. Anyway throughout the day, Zort came out to meet us and fish for a better part of the day.
Also Bowzog was out for a good part of the day as well before he had to leave as it was his son's birthday as well, turning 19 and he had to depart to bring him out for his first drink!
Rex Mundi made an appearance for a few hours as well.
Float showed up a little later in the day, good to see him out as well!
Had Bobber drop by for a few minutes late in the day as well.
Well Brian and I had a pretty good day. We seemed to get the only school going by about 9:00 to 9:30. Brian landed a nice 4 pound 2 oz 'eye to take top spot.
Brian's on top, mine down below, and in the other pic.
I landed a 3 pound 4 oz second place fish.
Apparently only 3 fish were weighed in all day in the Wallie category
Wish I could've stuck around at Baitcaster's after the day to meet a few others. Saw some faces I wasn't familiar with, just had to get back out and try some more. Next time lads.
A big thanks to BTS for hosting me for the day! Had a blast again Bud!

What was the weight of 3rd place walleye? I'm really scared to ask. We were told by someone (know them well and reputable) that was at Baitcasters in mid afternoon that our 2.8 pound walleye and 3.2 pound pike would not take a top 3. Since it was so wet we threw them back (had them in a huge rubbermaid "livewell" for a few hours) rathar then get soaked driving to the other end of the lake.Apparently only 3 fish were weighed in all day in the Wallie category
Anyone?
