Got to sneak out in the snow this morning for a couple hours... Off to Timmy's and down to the creek i went... Was met by darn near perfect conditons... Light stain and good current... I thought to myself... "self theres got to be a bow or two around"... Wasn't long and i got a solid take, grabbed the rod and she buckled in my hands... Set the hook and she rocketed out of the water 4' in the air and did a nice 10' tail walk across the water... Man i love bows...after a good 10 minute all over the place battle and a couple good 50' runs a quick scoop and she was at my feet... A quick pic and a kick of the tail and off she went... What a scrap... with every inch of reel peel the stress just melts away...
Here she is:
My professional guesstimate is around 6lbs of female beauty...
Hmm... lets see here someone who has caught 100's of bows (being me) since i have been part of FH compared to someone who i think if my memory serves me properly has caught 1 rainbow (being you) since being part of FH, questioning about a fishes weight?? Enough said...
1st off and Im not looking to start a pee pee contest here...........
That bow is FAT you can see the girth on it.Now a winter bow period will dominate any season bow unless it is a full female come early or mid sprig, now that also could have been a freak "Winter" spawn fish aswell.
