Found him ... RUK that is

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Found him ... RUK that is

Post by M.T. Livewell »

Taken me a while to put this report in, I guess cause there ain't much to report.

A few folks have been asking about R.U. Ketchinenny (aka RUK, aka Trevor). Well, I found him on the street, living next to a dumpster, playing old country on his guitar with 4 broken strings. OK, so it wasn't that bad, but life had thrown him a few curves, all of which led away from the water.

So, I managed to strong arm him into an afternoon of muskie fishing last Saturday. Look at the calm water, and sunny skies. Doubt we'll see anymore November days like that. :(

So, we spent the afternoon, washing lures and catching up. No fish to speak, but some quality time spent with one of my best friends.

Folks, if you see this lonely stranger walking the streets with a guitar on his back, don't throw him a dime, but rather a rod, a reel and some much needed quality time on the water.
Was fun RUK!

M.T. You are the jokester, aren't you?
I got some new strings, but now the guitar playing sucks with gloves on.

Hi everyone!

Sorry this crazy monkey hasn't been around much lately.
Since I haven't been fishing, I really haven't had much intelligent to add to the board!

I have been poking around here, watching the posts roll by.
Quietly munching bananas and getting beat up by the Livewells!
Still one of my favourite places to be on this crazy thing called interweb!

Thanks for checking in...

Ice fishing season is fast approaching. Which means no one will have much intelligent to add to the board except how to cut holes in hard water and swim a minnow on the end of a jig.

Thanks for checking in Trev. Thought I'd lost ya again there for a minute. :D

Ah, there's the little orangutan we're all so fond of.

Hope you're back and running on Fish-Hawk.Net on a more regular basis SOON. Glad you got out there with Mr. M.T.

:) Darn nice of RUK/Guitarzan to drop by...

I've always found RUK's posts intelligent and concise... That's why MT and he go together so well... Like Salt and Pepper.

And for the record MT, my little minnow placed through a hole in the ice will catch more than your little minnow placed through a hole in the ice anyday.
